All sales are subject to the following terms and conditions. No other conditions shall apply unless agreed in writing prior to placing an order.
Batten-Edwards Ltd has the right to alter prices without prior notice and to charge the current amount at the time of dispatch.
All goods are subject to VAT at the standard rate.
All orders placed by new customers have to be paid for at time of purchase either by cheque, cash or credit card. Bacs payment can be set up for account holder. Settlement of accounts will be due 30 days from the date of the invoice and shall be strictly net. Please note that statements are reminders for overdue accounts.
Purchases under £75 will incur a charge of £3.00, for purchases over £75 Shipping is FREE. All goods are sent via Royal Mail Recorded delivery, which takes 3-5 working days. Deliveries to addresses outside the UK mainland will be subject to individual carriage charges.
Batten-Edwards Ltd will dispatch all orders within 48 hours of receipt of order subject to stock availability. Batten-Edwards Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any kind of failure to deliver goods within time quoted due to reasons beyond our control. We also reserve the right to supply orders in partial shipments and invoice these shipments separately.
M.C.A. regulations stipulate that we must receive confirmation of a practitioners recognised qualifications in the use of local anaesthetics before such goods can be supplied. Please ensure you have the details available when ordering. Podiatrists qualified and registered to use anaesthetics are requested to register on our database, please complete the free reply paid form.
Shortages, breakages or discrepancies must be advised within 14 days of receipt of order. Where goods are delivered by carrier, written advice must be received within three working days of receipt of order.
Batten-Edwards Ltd is a licensed wholesale dealer, medical license no WL/22919/12740 under the Medicines Act for supply of pharmaceutical products. Our premises and systems are approved by the Department of Health. A condition of the license states that pharmaceuticals, which have been outside the controlled conditions of our warehouse for more than 3 days, cannot be returned to stock.
Returned goods will only be accepted for the following reasons:
All returned goods must be received within 14 days of purchase in perfect, unused conditions for a full refund or exchange.
Where products are alleged to be faulty or damaged.
N.B. Items returned for any other reason will be subject to a 15% ‘re-stocking’ charge.
All other goods listed in catalogue must be returned within 14 days of purchase in perfect, unused condition for a full refund or exchange. A 10% ‘re-stocking’ charge will be made under these circumstances.
We regret that goods obtained through our ‘product request’ facility cannot be returned unless previously agreed by ourselves in writing.
